Looking ahead

It turns out the pandemic still isn’t over! Dang!

But that shouldn’t stop us from looking ahead. The Omicron wave won’t last forever, and parents are still reaching out to sign up for the newslettter list. There’s interest in Sudbury, even in these dark times!

I’ve been thinking that we ought to simplify the startup process. People are understandably reluctant to commit to a full-time change, so why not start part-time? We could meet on Saturdays or Sundays, for instance. And we could potentially rent out space at Rootz.

Rootz is an organization that runs a location in Northbrook, just south of Deerfield. They rent out space to various afterschool programs, including dance lessons, theater classes and coding classes. I’m already familiar with the space and it could serve as a good starting point (once covid subsides, at least).

Their website is here. Let me know what you think!
