Christ United Methodist Church is considering hosting Riverwind Sudbury School! They have extra space in the basement that could be ours full-time. We could decorate it and everything! The building itself is lovely, and includes a commercial kitchen and a perfomance stage. More importantly, it's within walking distance to downtown Deerfield, which hosts a book store, several shops and cafes, a library, a park, a baseball field, a train station, and the police department!
In case of confusion, the church is a religious institution, but RWSS is secular. It's actually quite common for Sudbury Schools to start out by renting space from churches, because they have space available during the week.
If you know anyone at Christ United Methodist Church (CUMC), let them know how much a Sudbury School would mean to Deerfield!
